Thank you for your interest

Latest news:  Thanks so much to everyone who stops in to see our beautiful huskies.  We still get emails from people inquiring about puppies.  We are no longer breeding huskies.  When we lost Yukon and Aleutia we decided it was time to retire.  I sold the house in Priest River.  We now live out in the Valley in Sandpoint.  We've gone through a lot of changes.  We still have Cloudy, Yukon's Son, and two mini Aussie females.  We may have miniature puppies around December 2015.... still undecided.  Check back in fall for our next updates.  Enjoy summer while it lasts.  It's a short season here in no. Idaho.

RIP Yukon and Aleutia.

It's with a heavy heart that have to share the news that Aleutia and Yukon have gone to the "Happy Hunting Ground," as my Brother Al calls it.  I call it the Rainbow Bridge.

Aleutia died very suddenly and without warning on November 10th, 2013.  She had a massive tumor that was not visible and she showed no signs of sickness or illness so it went undetected.  It ruptured and she was bleeding internally.  I had to carry her into the vets office. There was no saving her. I bawled for days because Aleutia was my bud!  She went every where with me.  Yukon bawled too and he slipped into a deep depression.  He would not eat or come out of his dog house.  He had lost both of his girls and he was lost.  Yukon died 10 days later on November 20th.

RIP my big beautiful boy and my best bud Aleutia.  You will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Grinz from Kona

Hi again all. I just wanted to share a few pictures with you. This shot is of Kona, my Grand Son's Golden Retriever giving you a Grinz smile. Grinz is actually a dog toy. They are available at Amazon but I got mine from Ebay and saved a couple of bucks. A great shot to keep on a desktop to help you start out your day  with a smile. :)
Happy 2013 everyone. It's been awhile since my last post. Since we lost Keela (RIP) and we are no longer breeding we don't have a lot of news to post. We miss the puppy squeals and puppy breath. I did rescue Cloudy. He is such a brat! He is a happy boy now. I just bought him a Grinz ball. I will post a picture of him playing with it............ if it ever stops snowing and I can take him out in the yard to play fetch. Since moving out to my Son's my phone number has changed. For those wishing to contact me please send me an email and I will give you my updated info. My email is still the same, windtalkersibes@aol.com. Here's a picture of Cloudy that I took in late fall. He has lots of toys now, which he has buried all over. Not sure why he does this. When he wants to play with them he digs them up. I don't know who he thinks is going to get his toys but he is obviously protecting them and saying "they are mine, all MINE!" Lol. Thanks for stopping by to visit. Don't be a stranger. Stop back by from time to time. I promise to be better on posting pictures and updates. Warm Regards, Elizabeth and the Windtalkers pack

Thanks to all and wishing you a Happy 2012

We want to thank all of the people who followed our Windtalker-Siberians website over the years, checked out our puppies and our pack. We have retired our dogs and are no longer breeding or selling Siberian Husky puppies. We have discontinued the Windtalker's website but you can still follow us on our blog. If you are looking for a pup we do keep in touch with local breeders and can refer you to one of them. As always we appreciate your interest in our Windtalker's Siberians.

Have a wonderful 2012. Happy Mushing!

February 2010 Updates!

Need a good home! Recently we took in two Siberian Huskies, age 3. These dogs were sired by Yukon's Son, Demon.
Their owner enlisted in the Armed Forces and has left for basic training. He couldn't take his dogs with him. They are beautiful AKC registered huskies. Their names are Sonic and Misty.
Misty is a pure white female (spayed.) Sonic is a black and white (neutered) male.
The two have been together since the day they were born and are bonded. We are looking for a good home who can take them both and give them the love and attention that they deserve.

They are currently at my Son's house in Sandpoint, ID. He keeps promising me to send me pictures. As soon as he does I will upload them to the blog.

If you are looking for loving pets with good solid bloodlines these would be excellent dogs for you. If interested please email me at windtalkers@verizon.net.

Latest news Flash!!!!! It is still too soon to tell but we are hoping for a spring litter of pups. Keela and Yukon are the (hopefully) sire and dam. The pups would be born mid March and be ready to go in May. You can check back for updates on the pup prognosis in a couple of weeks.

As always we thank you for your interest in our Siberian Huskies.
