Tensaw and

Although we no longer breed huskies, some of our previous puppy buyers do have litters from time to time.  If you would like to see Yukon's Tensaw in action Bydog's blog is excellent to see what huskies do best, run!  They also have planned litters occasionally so if interested please check them out and tell them Elizabeth from Windtalker Sibes sent you.

Thank you for your interest

Latest news:  Thanks so much to everyone who stops in to see our beautiful huskies.  We still get emails from people inquiring about puppies.  We are no longer breeding huskies.  When we lost Yukon and Aleutia we decided it was time to retire.  I sold the house in Priest River.  We now live out in the Valley in Sandpoint.  We've gone through a lot of changes.  We still have Cloudy, Yukon's Son, and two mini Aussie females.  We may have miniature puppies around December 2015.... still undecided.  Check back in fall for our next updates.  Enjoy summer while it lasts.  It's a short season here in no. Idaho.

RIP Yukon and Aleutia.

It's with a heavy heart that have to share the news that Aleutia and Yukon have gone to the "Happy Hunting Ground," as my Brother Al calls it.  I call it the Rainbow Bridge.

Aleutia died very suddenly and without warning on November 10th, 2013.  She had a massive tumor that was not visible and she showed no signs of sickness or illness so it went undetected.  It ruptured and she was bleeding internally.  I had to carry her into the vets office. There was no saving her. I bawled for days because Aleutia was my bud!  She went every where with me.  Yukon bawled too and he slipped into a deep depression.  He would not eat or come out of his dog house.  He had lost both of his girls and he was lost.  Yukon died 10 days later on November 20th.

RIP my big beautiful boy and my best bud Aleutia.  You will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Grinz from Kona

Hi again all. I just wanted to share a few pictures with you. This shot is of Kona, my Grand Son's Golden Retriever giving you a Grinz smile. Grinz is actually a dog toy. They are available at Amazon but I got mine from Ebay and saved a couple of bucks. A great shot to keep on a desktop to help you start out your day  with a smile. :)
Happy 2013 everyone. It's been awhile since my last post. Since we lost Keela (RIP) and we are no longer breeding we don't have a lot of news to post. We miss the puppy squeals and puppy breath. I did rescue Cloudy. He is such a brat! He is a happy boy now. I just bought him a Grinz ball. I will post a picture of him playing with it............ if it ever stops snowing and I can take him out in the yard to play fetch. Since moving out to my Son's my phone number has changed. For those wishing to contact me please send me an email and I will give you my updated info. My email is still the same, Here's a picture of Cloudy that I took in late fall. He has lots of toys now, which he has buried all over. Not sure why he does this. When he wants to play with them he digs them up. I don't know who he thinks is going to get his toys but he is obviously protecting them and saying "they are mine, all MINE!" Lol. Thanks for stopping by to visit. Don't be a stranger. Stop back by from time to time. I promise to be better on posting pictures and updates. Warm Regards, Elizabeth and the Windtalkers pack

Available Males

We are currently working with our local Animal Rescue, PRAR (Priest River Animal Rescue.) About a week agao I got an email from the Director, Cathy Reynolds, asking me if I could foster a 5 year old adult white male, Cloudy. Cloudy is Yukon's Son and was purchased by my neighbor. This dog is such a sweetheart, but he has been abused and neglected. I would take him in a New York minute but I am not able at the time because I am staying out at my Son's place in Sandpoint and he has 4 dogs of his own.
I would so like to see Cloudy go to a loving home.

Today I received another email from Cathy. They also want to give up their black and white male husky, Turbo. Turbo is Cloudy's Son and Yukon's Grandson. Turbo is approximately 3 years old.

If you are interested in either of these wonderful dogs please contact me or Priest River Animal Rescue, 208-448-0699. Both dogs are AKC registered and come from champion bloodlines.

Thank you.
